Multilingual SEO is not a translation widget. Search engines need distinct URLs, clear language relationships, and content adapted to how each market actually searches.
Use separate language URLs
Subdirectories such as /en/ and /ar/ make analytics, linking, and hreflang easier to maintain. Each page should be self-canonical with reciprocal alternate annotations.
Arabic requires RTL-aware design
RTL affects navigation, tables, icon direction, and visual hierarchy. Language also needs terminology localization rather than literal translation.
Keep entity facts consistent
Brand name, service definitions, locations, experts, and proof should not change across language versions even when the copy is localized.
Measure each market independently
Separate query coverage, landing-page performance, leads, and visibility by language. English performance does not automatically predict Arabic or Indonesian demand.
